If you are a first time visitor we hope your first spa experience is a truly enjoyable one. The goal of any great spa is to provide a relaxing environment, free of any anxiety you may have about visiting a spa for the first time. Feel free to ask any staff about the spa's facilities and services. Here are answers to some frequently asked questions.
How early should I arrive for my appointment?
Arrive at least 20 minutes in advance of your appointment. This will allow time to check in and enjoy the surroundings in anticipation of your treatment. At most spas the amenities include locker room facilities, steam room, showers and quiet area for your use prior to your treatment. Check these out so that you can enjoy your visit to the maximum extent possible.
How much should I tip?
In most spas prices do not include gratuities. You should feel no obligation to offer a gratuity if you were unhappy with the spa services. Gratuities generally range from 15%-20% of the price of the service. Feel free to provide larger gratuities for exceptional service.
How should I dress for my treatment?
Some services are best received fully undressed. However, all treatments can be done while clothed. Should you wish to wear clothing we recommend shorts for men and a bikini swimsuit for women. Some spas offer disposable garments. Please ask and find out if you would like to use them.
What should I be telling my therapist?

What should I be telling my therapist?
During your treatment let your therapist know if you feel any discomfort or if you would like special attention on a particular area. The best treatments will come from honest communication with your therapist.
What if I have any health or medical conditions?
Please alert your therapist if you are: pregnant, have muscle or joint injuries, are using Retin-A, Accutane, or any photosensitizing or keratolytic medications, or have had recent laser or plastic surgery. Any of the above conditions may affect the spa's ability to perform your requested treatment.
